Acquiring media |
The ALA agreement allows K-State to use the
following Novell products:
Novell products not listed above are not included in the ALA package and licenses must be purchased by departments before they are used. The ALA site license is simply a license - it does not supply media (CD-ROMS or manuals). Departments that want copies of the media must purchase them from Novell since CNS does not replicate or loan media. Some items on the site license require a master key for installation. If you need a copy of the site license key disk for installing a product, please contact Royce Gilbert at CNS LAN Technologies. Purchase orders may be faxed to Mylissa's attention for faster processing at:
Faxed orders must indicate it is a purchase order and indicate the department is a part of Kansas State University. Department purchasing directly from Novell will be required to fill out a MLA for Education Schedule C Enrollment Form the first time they order product. This form is page 13 of the MLA agreement for Education. Also Software House International should be listed as the vendor of record when purchasing directly from Novell. A copy of the form is available here: MLA Agreement Form (Requires Adobe Acrobat) Departments purchasing media from Novell may be asked for information on the Education Schedule C Enrollment Form that they do not have at hand.
